General Guidelines for Ordination and License for Ministry   Pastor Installation Service :  Suggested Order of Program Welcome - Welcome everyone, state the purpose of the meeting, housekeeping.   Moderator can open the evening by stating the purpose as a response to the request of the local church to install their new pastor.   A brief history can be shared at this moment.    Opening Prayer  Song of Celebration - Praise Team  Sermon Charge To The Pastor Charge To The Congregation Laying of Hands - request ordained ministers and deacons to come up and lay hands on the pastor and his spouse and family.   Prayer can be led by one representative or several.    Closing Song of Celebration  Announcement and Closing Prayer - Rejoice and pray for the food Processional - The ordained pastor and family remains in the front center while the congregation goes in order to congratulate and impart wishes and gift.   ...
